DMV and FL. Primary Care. Urgent Care. Postpartum. Mental Wellness.
We know you're busy! That's why we deliver high-quality healthcare when you need it that is convenient and easier to access from your phone or other personal device.
Our mission is simple: with you as the center of our circle, we help you achieve and maintain a healthy lifestyle by developing custom treatment plans inclusive of evidence-based, compassionate, and culturally-competent care.
In other words, we provide care that is proven to help with people you feel comfortable working with. Explore our website to learn more about how we can help on your wellness journey.
Our healthcare system has challenges: long waits, short visits. Illness is sometimes prioritized over wellness. Unmet expectations across the board. Prevention and education are sometimes low priorities. Sometimes it is difficult to see your preferred provider when you have a need. Sometimes you feel like a number rather than a person. Black maternal mortality rates remain disproportionately high. Mental health and wellness needs across most populations are rising.
With nearly 20 years of caring for patients, we believe in providing culturally-competent and evidence-based care and longer appointments as needed. We believe that wellness is a balance that comes in a variety of forms. We know that you have several options when it comes to care and our goal is to listen and get to know you and your care goals, ensure we are a good fit for each other and then if we are, to partner with you on your way to wellness.
We team up with our care partners in DC, Maryland, Virginia and Florida (Georgia coming soon!) to provide wellness care, primary care, urgent care, and health coaching. In the same states, we also specialize in Maternal (and Paternal!) care and overall Mental Wellness and fourth trimester support in the postpartum space. We also help coach our care partners who may be outside of our primary service area.
She is a dually board-certified Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with nearly 20 years of experience. Her certifications enable her to provide comprehensive care for both the mind and body. Specializing in virtual care, NP Traci treats acute conditions like Urinary Tract Infections, cold symptoms, and sore throats for patients age 5 and above. She also manages chronic conditions such as Hypertension, Diabetes, Anxiety, PTSD and Depression in adults, with a particular focus on Perinatal and Postpartum Anxiety and Depression in the pregnant person and their partners. NP Traci provides care for patients in the District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia, and Florida. Her warm, integrative, and non-judgmental approach ensures that each patient feels heard and supported on their wellness journey.

Please let us know if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Yes and no. Unfortunately, we do not bill or accept insurance for the majority of our partners. However, for Mental Wellness partners in Maryland and DC only, we are in network with several. Self pay is optional, however if you choose, please use this third-party link to confirm if your insurance is accepted or not and for booking and billing purposes: https://growtherapy.com/book-appointment?id=25713&utm_source=provider-sourced&utm_medium=booking-link&utm_campaign=provider-dashboard
While it is not required, we strongly recommend maintaining some kind of medical coverage, especially in the event of a catastrophic event or needing a specialist evaluation. Most of our patients have their regular insurance and maintain the minimal criteria to keep it active.
We provide mostly electronic care which is abbreviated to e-care, similar to electronic mail and its abbreviation, e-mail or email. The C is capitalized because Care is our foundation. And "Health e-Care" phonetically sounds like "healthy care" which is our goal.
Life happens! Feel free to cancel or reschedule any appointment by sending an email to us at hello@healthe-care.com or going into your portal at least 24 hours before your appointment without any penalty. Late cancellations or no-shows are subject to a fee of a minimum $100 up to the full cost of the appointment. You can access your portal on the first page of this website.
We aim for full transparency when it comes to billing and if we make a mistake, know that we will 100% provide a refund. And while we cannot refund opened medications or supplements or guarantee specific results or outcomes as they vary for everyone, if you are unsatisfied with your care, we are happy to discuss a solution on a case-by-case basis.
We are a team and we work together in partnership to meet your care goals, and therefore, "care partner" seems more appropriate for us to use. We want to engage with partners who are ready for a change and who understand that change takes time and committment.
Wellness is a marathon, not a sprint, and lifestyle changes take time to implement and maintain. This is an investment in your health and future and we want to ensure that you have the best opportunity to succeed.
A working thermometer, blood pressure cuff and a scale are the basics. It would also be helpful to have a pulse oximeter and any kind of fitness tracker. Ability to connect via the internet or phone are also essential.
We are happy to review your medication and discuss a plan, however at this time, we do not prescribe any controlled substances. If you are on a controlled substance and you are interested in weaning off, we can possibly assist.
We normalize the things you're feeling as moms and dads (and support partners too!). We can also help with medication management during this time and depending on your specific needs, we will collaborate with our experienced team that can help with common postpartum concerns like life transitions, lactation, baby blues, pelvic floor issues and nutrition.
Thanks for being able to see me the day before Christmas when I felt that my urine was not normal. I almost did not make it to the pharmacy since the weather was so bad but thankfully I did. You are amazing! Hope you had a nice christmas!
Thanks for refilling my eczema cream. My skin was so bad with the cold weather. I did not realize it had been so long since I had it filled. I will get some more from my pediatrician the next time I go back home. Thanks!
Yiou saved my life! Thankfully I was able to get my medicine that I really needed before the pharmacy closed. Thank you!
Hi. Thanks for being available to see my 2-year old last Thursday evening. Even though I thought it was ringworm that I noticed after his bath and I was not sure if I should schedule the appointment or not, I felt much better after being able to talk to you and you confirmed that it was. Thank you!
You are so lovely! Thank you for being so kind and swiftly getting me scheduled and seen last week! I truly appreciate you also being patient when I could not get the video to work. Both my husband and I are almost done with our Paxlovid and we are feeling better thanks to you!
You are a lifesaver! I'm so glad you could help me with the mastitis that I recently developed. Thank goodness it is not as bad as the first time. Thanks also for the lactation tips! I will try to make the cookies soon. I appreciate you more than you know!
